    The Burrowing Owl is an endangered species.

    Yes, according to IUCN’s red list, some critically endangered owls include the pernambuco pygmy-owl, anjouan scops-owl,  and forest owlet.  There are other owls listed as endangered or threatened to look at the list, visit the IUCN link below.
