Yes, there are other animals, grubs, and even plants that are used for poisons in hunting. In Northern Kalahari poison from the larva and pupae of the chrysomelid beetle is used as a poison. Poisons from many different snakes are used after for the same purpose.
In Africa, Oleander, milkweed, andacokanthera are all plants used to make poisons for arrows.
