    Yes! The following is a list of non-government organizations that protect water in a variety of ways. The American Water Works Association is one which provides information and conferences related to source water protection. The Association of State Drinking Water Administrators, The Association of State and Interstate Water Pollution Control Administrators, Conservation Technology Information Center, Conservation Technology Information Center, Ground Water Foundation, The Ground Water Protection Council, Ground Water Report to the Nation, Interstate Council on Water Policy, League of Women Voters, National Association of Counties, National Center for Small Communities, National Ground Water Association, National Rural Water Association, Nature Conservancy, Rural Community Action Program, and The Trust for Public Lands are all organizations working towards protecting water.
