Yes there are. Mexico produces huge amounts of organic produce, and almost all of it is exported. The US receives a lot of it, along with inorganic produce. The next time you are at a health food store, check out the organic section. Many of the peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, etc. will have a sticker saying “Mexico.”
According to the Organic Consumers Association, the amount of land in Mexico dedicated to organic gardening and farming has increased rapidly in the past couple decades. Currently, the country is ranked number 18 in organic cultivation worldwide. Out of the products grown, 85% of them are exported. Coffee and avocados are two other common agricultural crops.
