Are there any organic batteries?

    It is reported that a Taiwanese professor invented the world’s first battery based on chlorophyll. The battery can operate on any liquid–including water or urine. It contains no toxic substances and produces about one-half the power of conventional batteries. However, it can store more energy than other water-powered fuel cells.
