Are there any oil rigs off the east coast?

There was an article last year in the NY Times (2011) on how the Obama Administration proposed a plan to begin off-shore drilling for oil along the east coast for the first time. The plan proposed to open up vast areas of water along the Atlantic coastline, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and the north coast of Alaska for oil and natural gas drilling. Although oil companies were thrilled to hear this, environmental organizations were not pleased. There are areas that would be considered off limits for drilling such as Bristol Bay and the New Jersey coastline.
