Are there any materials for clothing that are completely sustainable?

For clothing to be truly sustainable, much more than just the material used must be considered. One would need to look into how the material was made, if it was recycled, if the farming practice of the producer of the material is sustainable, if the company who assembled the material uses sustainable practices and energy sources, and if the material will be able to be re-used for something after its life as clothing is over. There is so much to the process of creating any one thing, so it takes a fair amount of research into individual producers to say whether something is completely sustainable. However, if you want to focus only on materials there are some that are better than others. Some healthy clothing materials to be considered are organic bamboo, hemp, flax, and soy.

This site has some more ideas and a bit more information on materials as well:
