The EPA has released a new set of rules and requirements for the Renewable Fuel Standards program.  To qualify as a Renewable Fuel a 20 percent reduction in Greenhouse gas emissions is required.  The EPA states that corn ethanol qualifies if its produced from an existing natural gas-fueled facility with efficient techniques.
