Are there any iPhone applications to help me eat Genetically Modified Organism free food?

Yes, there is an application called the Non-GMO Project, which was released as a free download on iTunes on March 9th, 2010. (It is available for the iPod Touch as well.) This application supplies the shopper with a list of foods that don’t contain any GMOs from which you can search by brand, product type or name, keyword, or supporting retailer. The application ensures that the buyer can find the GMO free food they’re looking for, and also includes a history and mission statement of The Non-GMO Project’s Product Verification Program, founded in 2007.

There are several. The technology you love can now help you avoid the technology you don’t love. The free apps “ShopNoGMO” and the “Non-GMO Project Shopping Guide” help consumers buy non-GMO products.
