Although in some mythology, males can become pregnant, science explains it simply cannot happen. Scientists have theorized however, that male pregnancy could be possible in the future. There is a phenomenon known as ‘Fetus in fetu’ in which two eggs are fertilized, but one surrounds the other, preventing it from growing into a person. This was just documented in a man in India in 1999 when a man was discovered to have his twin inside him.
Actually, male seahorses give birth to their babies. The female produces the eggs and implants them in the male seahorse’s pouch. The male seahorse then fertilizes and incubates the eggs in his brood pouch until they hatch. Then can birth up to 200 seahorses at time!
