There don’t seem to be any glaciers in Hawaii currently, though geologists have discovered residue and deposits in the Aloha state dating back to glaciers that existed there during the ice ages. One particular ancient glacial formation, located around the Mauna Kea volcano, has been featured recently in the news because of the way its melting several thousand years ago affected ocean currents and global climate change.
