No, fur is never good for the environment. The farms cause pollution, and catching wild animals effects the ecosystem and the food chain. Then you have treat the fur and hide with chemicals so it doesn’t rot. If you absolutely must have a fur coat I would suggest getting one used so as not to create a market for new furs but I would say avoid it all together. Even fake fur with its synthetic chemicals is still better for the environment and of course better for the poor animals.
