    There are, and they are commonly referred to as “prawns” instead of “shrimp.” Some examples are Caridina multidentata and Neocaridina heteropoda.

    Yes – some species include the Yamato Numa Ebi/Caridina spp., Ghost/Grass, Wood/Singapore, Rock/Mountain, Bumble Bee, Macrobrachium, and Neocaridina spp.  See the links below for more information.
