I don’t think so. Birds lose their flight capabilities due to a lack of predators. SO for them to regain flight, they would have to need to be able to fly, presumably away from a new predator. But during the time it takes evolution to make the birds flight capable again, im guessing all the birds would be killed by the predator.
This is happening to the Kakapos. They used to be able to fly, but now they can’t. New predators like cats have killed most us these birds. Only 100 still live in the wild.
