Are there any diseases that climate change is causing to slow in spread?

It doesn’t seem so, or at least it isn’t a big concern for scientists.  All articles and news do nothing but emphasize the potential massive spread of disease that climate change and global warming could cause.  For instance, many infectious diseases are carried by mosquitoes, and they live in warmer areas – if warmer areas spread, so do mosquitoes.  Influenza is also a disease that could spread with climate change – it runs year round in the tropics, and scientists believe it will become more widespread as warm areas increase.
