Are there any currents that go all the way around the world?

Yes, the only current that flows completely around the globe is the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC). As it circles the Antarctic continent it begins to flow eastward towards Southern Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Ocean. Not only is it the biggest current, is known to also be the mightiest ocean in the world, transporting more water than any other current.

Just found this really awesome map off all the ocean currents and their flow patterns.  Right at the far south of the map, you can clearly see the AAC that Syl6 has highlighted in her answer.

The general current that flows around the whole World and is also responsible for warm weather in Europe is known as the Thermohaline Circulation or ‘global conveyor belt’
