I don’t think so. There are some countries in which subsistence hunting is practiced regularly (especially in Africa), and indeed rely on it as an important source of protein and iron, but it still accounts for less than half of the animal products in their diet. These days, only a tiny portion of the population still practice a hunter-gatherer lifestyle, and beyond these small pockets, the human population survives almost exclusively on agriculture.
