Are there any countries that eat a lot of seal?

A lot of northern countries like Canada, Greenland, Norway, Namibia, Iceland, Russia do, with Canada and Greenland being the two biggest consumers.. Event parts of the US, like Alaska, harvest seals for food. For northerners, who need a very fatty diet to survive, food items like seals fit easily into their diets and have been a part of their lives for years. Recently, however, there was a Canadian law passed that disallowed the hunting of seals beginning 2010; surprisingly enough, this year when Canadian parliament meets, seal is the main course on the menu.
