Yes there are. The production and consumption of camel is centered in North Africa, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. There was an extensive camel market in Austraila at one time until the use of trucks replaced them for transportation. The consumption of camel meat is considered taboo in the U.S. or other countries that have a large Jewish population because it is strictly forbdden by the Torah.
