Are there any countries that added more renewable energy to their grid than non renewable this year?

88% of Iceland’s energy supply comes from renewable energy sources.  66% comes from their vast geothermal supply.  The warm water used for producing energy in Iceland is located closer to the surface than many other countries, including the US.

This fact makes it cheaper for Iceland to produce geothermal energy than other countries.
