There are these new indoor compost bins that automate everything to compost at maximum efficiency. These ones in the link below can compost all kitchen waste even meat and a little light comes on to tell you the compost is done, about every 2 weeks. It takes about the same amount of energy as a light bulb.
Of course if you wanted to spend the time with a regular compost bin you could probably achieve the same results just by turning, watering, and monitoring the heating of the pile very carefully.
I’m not sure if the bin itself is the key to speeding up the process. It is a matter of temperature. Wetting and turning the pile over regularly is what makes things break down quickly. Getting a thermometer can be a real help in determining how you can change your methods to increase efficiency.
