I did not find any results for a company building homes or businesses out of coconut shells, but I did find a result for a company building a fusion power electrical generating facility in the south of France that uses coconut shell charcoal to capture helium and hydrogen byproducts of the thermonuclear fusion reaction.
There is also a study comparing the use of coconut shell and palm kernel shell as a part of the concrete matrix, so it looks like this could catch on as a building material, at least in developing coutries where other resources are scarce.
