Lhasa is the cleanest city in China, with pollution levels way below National standards. 80 million trees have been planted in and around the south-west providence, and the 13 nature reserves make up a little under 20 percent of the providence.
The reserves there also are home to 75% of the worlds black-necked crane, an endangered species of which there are thought to be only 5,000 left. Strict hunting laws protect 164 species in the area.
All cities in the US are also polluted … it is a question of degree.
