Are there any animals in America that have ivory?

Aside from walruses and whales, the only other American ivory-bearing entity is in fact not an animal but a plants the Ivory Palm, from South America. As well as an edible fruit, ivory palms contain an endosperm which when dried out hardens and acts much like elephant ivory. It can be used to make buttons, ches pieces, scrimshaw and other thins traditionally made out of ivory, so long as they aren’t too big.
