If someone has the time and money, it’s possible to fit enormous aquariums in the home. The largest known home aquarium sits in the garage of John Marcus; its inside measurements are 26 feet long by 12.5 feet wide, and it holds 10,000 gallons. It cost about 100,000 dollars to build, with a 2,000 dollar per month cost. Marcus and his son don wetsuits to clean it thoroughly for the over 100 animals living there.
