I found a couple at-home remedies that might work, but I know when my cat was little and our Vet told us not to use regular flee treatments he suggested using Head and Shoulder shampoo. It worked, we just washed my cat in the bath tup and saw all of the flees go down the drain. We didn’t have a problem with them after that.
Hope that helps.
I’ve had flea problems with my cat too. We bathed him a couple times with Johnson’s Baby Soap and that helped his flea issue a lot. We also vacuumed our place to make sure there weren’t any eggs waiting to hatch. A good bath can go a long way to get rid of fleas.
