Are sugargliders hard to take care of?

I had a friend in grade school that had a few sugar gliders. They are nocturnal animals, so they need to be able to be kept in a dark place during the day to ensure sleep. These animals are also very smelly, so keeping the cage clean is very important. They need a big cage to be able to run around in. They also need to be kept in an area where they can run around and make noise at night and not wake up their owners. Owning sugar gliders are a very big responsibility, as it is with any animal, and should be very carefully researched. Good Luck!
