When actually studying stars they are stationary. Sometimes they seem to be moving when we look at them from the earth but that is because the earth is rotating. In the general sense of the universe though, stars do move. Gravity makes every object in space move. They actually are moving very quickly in real-time but because the other stars are moving around them at the same speed we don’t notice.
