Are snails and sluggs related?

Yes. Snails and slugs are considered to be gastropods, however snails are “molluscan” meaning that they have a shell.

Yes, they are. They are both mollusks, and are also related to oysters and clams. This doesn’t mean that a slug is a “snail without a shell”, though. They are two different, albeit closely related, species. Sometimes slugs have small, internal shells.

I recommend going to the link below to learn more about how slugs and snails are both similar and different.
