It is safe to say that air pollution affects all living, breathing creatures, regardless of size. However, some studies have found that smaller animals are more severely affected by smog than larger animals. In one such study, the canines and felines on a dairy farm were more affected by a certain type of smog (called “Donora” smog) than were cattle, horses and sheep.
