Are small bathing suits better for the environment?

In a way, I suppose so. Less fabric, time, and energy goes into making smaller bathing suits. The problem with making smaller bathing suits is that we can make a lot more of them with whatever isn’t used in creating them (i.e. making one small bathing suit leaves more fabric to make more small bathing suits). So what you have left over from one bathing suit is made up for making more small bathing suits. If the demand for small bathing suits fits the output, sure. If not, we’re just wasting resources on something not enough people are buying.

I guess smaller bathing suits would be better for the environment. They amount of material needed would decrease along with the overall shipping weight would decrease. Store displays could use smaller spaces to place the suits as well.
