Are shipping containers big enough to be classrooms?

    Possibly. There are quite large but the lack windows and sufficient air circulation even with the doors open to be used in the original condition. There is also the remnants of what was in the container before and if the toxicity of that product.

    Shipping containers can indeed be used as classrooms (and many other traditional building uses) with some minor modifications.  Adding windows, a ventilation system and other normal class room amenities is usually simple, as most shipping containers are composed of sheeted metal which can easily but cut and modified, then set up with wiring and plumbing.  Container conversion can be an effective and cost efficient method for providing new buildings for schools as well as being good for the environment.
