Are sea snakes poisonous?

The majority of sea snakes are highly venomous, when snake bits do occur however, envenomation symptoms usually seem non-existent. Bites are usually painless and may not even be noticed when contact is made. Symptoms of bites from sea snakes are rhabdomyolysis, headache, and vomiting.
