They are both members of the Arthropod phylum (together with insects and spiders). That’s not too closely related – about as close, phylogenetically, as fish and birds to each other.
They are from the same phylum, Arthropoda, since they are invertebrates with segmented bodies, an exoskeleton, and jointed legs. I’m not sure if this means they are related, however, since the category of Arthropoda is so broad.
Distantly. They both belong to the same kingdom (animalia) and phylum (arthropoda), but that’s as related as they get.
