Are residential fires worse for the environment than forest fires?

I think residential fires not only have the potential to be more dangerous to humans but also to the environment. The reason for this is that there are many unnatural substances that could burn and release toxic chemicals into the soil, water and air. Residential fires are also a threat to infrastructure that protects from pollution leaks.
