Are reptile populations plummeting like amphibian populations are?

According to a new study it is possible that reptile populations are actually dropping even faster than amphibian populations. Reptiles are faced with environmental problems such as habitat loss due to overdevelopment, invasive species, environmental pollution, and disease. There are over 270 species of reptiles listed as endangered on the World Conservation Union lists (compared to 129 amphibian species).
