Are red racers poisonous?

Although they’re not actually known to be poisonous, Red Racers, a common snake in the Mojabe Desert, can be aggressive, and their bite can tear through human flesh.  Red Racers are considered dangerous for that reason.  Not to mention they are also ranked as the fastest moving snake in the desert; they travel at a speed of 7 miles per hour.

Red racers are not known to be poisonous.  However, their bites can tear the flesh and you should use caution around them.
