Are rainforests the most diverse eco system in the world?

    They are not, actually.  Contrary to popular belief, the Coral Triangle in South East Asia is the most diverse eco system in the world, according to scientists.  The area actually stretches through six different nations across the Indian and Pacific oceans.  The Coral Triangle is enormous, about half the size of the United States, and is home to over 50% of the world’s coral reefs.
