Are rabbits a problem anywhere in the world?

Yes, rabbits introduced by Europeans wiped out many native plant species in Australia. Their numbers made them a huge nuisance, and while there are many measures in place for their control, their breeding habits make things difficult. Rabbits can be a pest to gardeners everywhere, too, when they decide to munch on plants.
