Not in North America, but in South America they are. Te European Rabbit is one of the most damaging invasive species in the world, causing devastation to agriculture, plants and animals in both South America and Australia. Australia has a huge number of problems with invasive species because many, like the European rabbit, were introduced intentionally by humans with little foresight.
