The Environmental Protection Agency lists a number of acceptable pesticides for Christmas tree farming.  Some of the more toxic chemicals included on this list are bifenthrin, diazinon, endosulphane, and more.  These and some of the other listed chemicals are known to cause cancer, birth defects, respiratory problems, organ damage, and a laundry list of other health hazards.
