Are the people in Africa interested in the climate talks of Copenhagen?

Yes. The Copenhagen climate talks comprise 192 nations, including 50 African nations. Although African Nations typically don’t have problems with excessive emissions, many African nations are pressing wealthier nations to reduce their carbon output. The desertification of Africa is directly associated with carbon emissions in the developed world. So Africans have a vested interest in encouraging the developed world to reduce their carbon output.
