Are the people affected by the BP oil spill still getting help?

If you mean monetarily, yes. $20 billion was set aside by BP to pay in compensation to anyone who was affected by the oil spill. As of May this year about $4 billion of that had been paid to people. People can still file claims to receive compensation and the fund is less than halfway used so there is still help.
