Are paint fumes bad for your brain?

    Yes paint fumes are bad for your brain and body. The can cause dizziness, headaches and memory loss. They can also damage your lungs and cause asmatha. Definitely do not paint when pregnant.

    While paint fumes are toxic, it’s only after years of concentrated exposure that you will see any long term effects on the human brain.  These dangers are magnified in children who can suffer from learning disabilities, behavior problems, IQ deficiencies, as well as vision and hearing loss.  This is why if someone is acting stupid, or does something dumb, they may be asked if they “ate paint chips as a kid”.
