Are our national parks polluted just like the rest of the country is?

    Some of them are, unfortunately. Rain and wind currents can bring pollutants into national parks from areas where they are produced. These pollutants include mercury, PCBs and DDT. They have been found in high concentrations in several National Parks in the western Untied States.
