Organic denotes how the plants and crops are grown, not where they came from. Therefore, it’s not necessary to grow organic crops from organic seeds. However, if you want to grow crops and plants from seeds of other organic plants, be my guest.
Well swordSarai, yes and no. While as cfraissi stated, organic plants can be grown from non-organic seeds, many organizations, such as the California Certified Organic Farmers, certify and support numerous organic seed banks. My personal favorite is Snow Seed Organic. Check out more at http://www.ccof.org/ and www.snowseedco.com/organic.html. Hope I helped, and have a green day!
