Wind turbines in general are growing larger as the demand for wind power itself grows. Bigger turbines can produce more kilowatts of electrical power, so size is in fact increasing exponentially. it’s also becoming more cost-effective to have larger turbines, again because they can produce more power. And yes, offshore turbines are typically larger than land turbines, because as they cost more to build and maintain, they need to produce more electricity.
