Are new developments threatening condor habitats in California?

As of November 2009 there were only 358 California condors left in existence.  A large part of their habitat in an area north of Los Angeles is currently under threat.  The Tejon Ranch Company was planning on building a huge development of luxury homes, hotels, and golf courses in the natural habitat of the Condor.  Since then, environmentalists, local residents, and Native Americans have filed a lawsuit to stop the development.  The lawsuit has not yet been settled, but hopefully this development will be stopped in its tracks.
