The STS (Space Transportation System) uses rocket fuel to get the shuttle into orbit and then once out there the orbiter uses hydrogen and oxygen to propel it around. The ISS (International Space Station) does use electricity and is now generating using it’s “solar wings” that are now fully deployed.
Lots of satellites also use the sun’s power to generate electricity.
