In the United States, yes. 95% of soybean production relies on RoundUp Ready genetically-modified soy. However, in the past year, Roundup Ready seed has been becoming more expensive, so some producers are considering a shift back to normal seed. But keep in mind that most of the soy we produce is fed to livestock–so when a bottle of Silk soymilk is saying “100% non-GMO” they’re probably being truthful!
